Darren Romanelli for Katz + Dogg: Flower Biker Lounge Chair
Richard Prince and Los Angeles–based designer Darren Romanelli collaborated on a special line of furniture and clothing for Prince’s Katz + Dogg brand. Using his collection of vintage denim, textiles, and sportswear sourced from local flea markets and thrift stores, Romanelli created one-of-a-kind pieces intended to have a “hippie/stoner-inspired aesthetic” that resonates with Katz + Dogg’s line of smoking products.
Repurposing found fabrics, the “Flower Biker” lounge chair is made with vintage Levi’s and leather biker apparel, fleece, and crocheted blankets on which motifs from Prince’s iconic Hippie Drawings have been screenprinted. It features an embroidered flower patch on the chair back.
